Long-term partnership creates careers for people with disabilities

Partnership sees Intertek fund employment opportunities each year

For the past eight years, Intertek Thailand and the Thailand Association for the Promotion of Opportunities and Occupations for Persons with Disabilities (the association) have partnered to create meaningful employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

Through the partnership, Intertek has funded employment for people with mobility limitations every year since 2018, enabling them to build sustainable careers close to their homes and local communities. Beyond employment, the initiative empowers individuals to live with greater independence and dignity while creating a lasting positive impact on their communities.

Common places of work include community centres and schools that have been carefully screened and recommended by the association based on site accessibility and the recruitment needs of local employers.

To mark the ongoing success of the partnership and discuss future plans, we welcomed representatives from the association to Intertek Thailand's headquarters in Bangkok in June 2026.

Adopting a disability-inclusive mindset is one of our companywide goals, and this initiative is a powerful example of how our teams are creating opportunities where everyone can contribute, grow and succeed.
